A world leader in research on Latin American issues

On March 13, 2015, at the Rozsa Centre graduate students presented current research on various topics related to Latin America. 

Congratulations to Lindy Robinson, winner of the 2014 Canadian Council for the Americas – Faculty of Arts Essay Prize!

Ph.D. candidate Gabriel Martínez, El Colegio de México (Mexico City, Mexico), and recipient of an Emerging Leaders of the Americas Program grant, will be working with LARC Fellow Dr. Amelia Kiddle in 2015. 

Dr. Amelia Kiddle, Dept. of History, spoke about her research on the history of oil and energy in Mexico and Latin America at El Colegio de Mexico. Link to full video interview. 

On February 10, LARC hosted a presentation by Dr. Odile Cisneros, University of Alberta, titled "Can Literature Save the Planet? Lessons from Latin America" as part of the Speaker Series.
