The Centre invites manuscript submissions for two of its publications series, as follows:

1.       Article length manuscripts for its Occasional Papers Series. Papers may be on any aspect of Latin American politics, social and economic issues.  This series is intended to focus on more contemporary issues.  Submissions should be 4-5,000 words in length, documented in University of Chicago style.  All submissions are peer reviewed (double blind) and there is a relatively prompt turn around time before publication. Papers are published electronically by the Centre with a small print run. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to larc@ucalgary.ca in MS Word format. Papers must be original, not previously published. 

2.      The University of Calgary Press also publishes, in collaboration witthe Research Centre, a monograph series on any aspect of Latin American society under the general editorship of Dr. Christon Archer, Professor Emeritus of History, University of Calgary. Manuscripts should be submitted in first instance to the Latin American Research Centre, Social Sciences 004, University of Calgary, 2500 University Drive NW, Calgary, Canada T2N 1N4.
