FELLOWS

The Latin American Research Centre Fellows are scholars and researchers representing numerous faculties and comprise the core of LARC activities. LARC seeks to provide stronger institutional structure to Fellows, to recognize individual research initiatives and achievements, and to facilitate individual and collaborative research in general. Each of these elements is important to developing the Centre and to advancing the range of disciplines and fields embraced by studies in and on Latin America. STAFF

LARC is supported by a Director and Program Coordinator. In addition, LARC regularly hosts graduate students in residence as well as international students and scholars from diverse disciplines and faculties to collaborate on research relevant to the academic, business, government and global communities, including public policy research on current issues.

VISITORS

LARC welcomes applications from graduate students from the University of Calgary as well as faculty from outside of the University of Calgary who seek visiting affiliation with LARC in order to conduct research on Latin America in Calgary. To apply to become a Visiting Fellow or Visiting Graduate Student, please send a CV, 1-2 page statement of purpose, and 2 letters of reference to larc@ucalgary.ca. Please clearly explain a rationale for conducting research at the University of Calgary and identify confirmed collaborators, if applicable.  For information on the Call for Nominations for Graduate Student Fellows in Residence please email larc@ucalgary.ca.
