The second installment of LARC's Dialogues Series held on June 2 was a success! Panelists gathered to compare and discuss lessons and experiences in urban growth in Mexico, USA and Canada. 

Lecture hosted by LARC and UC International on June 9 provided insight into the philosophy behind Bolivia’s government policies.

The Chilean Ministry of Education has determined that Pablo Policzer's book Los modelos del horror (LOM, 2015), should be part of Chile's school curriculum.

 Congratulations to Dr. Kathryn Reese-Taylor’s class, LAST 211: Latin American Popular Culture for winning the Second Annual Day of the Dead Altar Competition.

Dr. Arturo Valencia, who recently completed his doctoral studies at El Colegio in México, joins the Latin American Research Centre as Visiting Fellow through the summer of 2016.
